Thanksgiving

Well this was my first year having Thanksgiving at my house. Wow what a stressful job. My mom does this every year what is she thinking. She is an amazing woman. The Turkey was really good, very moist. My rolls actually raised like they were suppose to. The pies and cheesecake were awesome.
I am so thankful for my family and friends. My husband who is always there for me even when I am freaking out. He calms me down. I am thankful for my all my many blessings. I am grateful for all I have. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.

CHRISTMAS TIME!!!

Well it is Christmas time once again.
We did the traditional cutting of the Christmas trees it was really fun.
We have put the lights up, we added reindeer to the roof this year and it looked cute the first day. Then the wind came and ruined it all. Oh well we will try again next year. We took our family pictures for our Christmas cards and let me tell you the dogs did not want to cooperate with us. We are still getting Christmas together. That is about all we have been doing.

Stressful Adventures!!!

Okay. A couple of weeks ago our closet rod broke on my side (Roy fixed it) and then a week later the other side broke. So we decided to go get a new closet organizer. Yes! a project we could work on together...Or should I say argue about together. :) We don't work good together we are both stubborn and have our own ideas. So we hit heads pretty hard. Looking backing now we both wanted the samething we just couldn't understand each others methods...Oh married life what an experiance. Well we got it up and it looks great.
Last week my car died on me. We thought it was the battery...It wasn't. Roy thought it was the starter...It wasn't. The car guy said it was some wires...It wasn't. Come to find out it was the battery but it was just dirty and needed to be cleaned off. Now it runs great. How is it that you ask a husband to fix something in your car and he never does anything until it dies...Oh well it works now. On the lighter side when the closet broke we had to go through a bunch of clothes, shoes, and hats. These are some pics of hats Roy has been given from family and Friends. He couldn't let go of...
You know he can make me laugh pretty hard all the time...Even after all this stress.

Summer's over

Wow! This summer has gone by so fast. We have been very busy. In June I had girl's camp and that was a blast. We went up High creek and went hiking. We also did this morning testimony meeting on the top on the mountain just as the sun was coming up. That was so Awesome, you could really feel the spirit. I would suggest that to anyone who is in charge of girl's camp. A week later we went to Roy's family reunion and had a lot of fun. We went to the cruse in' which was great I got to see my future car. The new camero. I had a couple of sleepovers with my girl's, we went to bear lake with our friends... thinking thinking...Oh yeah we went to a couple of museums. I don't think we have had one weekend were we stayed home for more than a couple of hours.
We did have some not so good things happen. My brother ran away from home. He went to Texas and he would not come back. My parents moved to Texas not because of my brother but because my dad got a job offer he couldn't pass up. Let me just say having my mom move so far away from me it really sucks. She and I did everything together and now I feel lost. As for my other siblings...Jeff is still living up here with his wife Teisha in Logan. Brandon and Victoria moved to the tri-cites in Washington not sure where that is but hopefully it will be good for them.Vickie moved up to Washington with her boyfriend and shortly after they moved they broke up. Now she is living up there with some friends of hers. Sean moved with my parents he is a Senior and excited about graduating. Matt is playing football down there and he loves it.
As for Roy and I we are not moving to Texas. He has been putting in a lot of fences this summer. He is working his butt off. I am so glad I have a husband who can support me financially and emotionally. :) I am trying to decide if I want to go back to school. That is about it, for now there is nothing new on our family stats we still want kids but have not decided anything yet. I will try to do better with updating our blog.

BUSY,BUSY,BUSY!!!

Well, We have been very busy lately. We have already started our summer. WAHOO! We went to the Derby that was in Logan and it was awesome. There was a car that flipped all the way over it was great. We just got back from our first camping trip of this year today. We went up on Friday and it was great we had friends and family come up. Then Sunday we got nothing but rain. We stuck it out though it was cold and wet, but rain happens every year on Memorial weekend. You just have to be prepared for it. :) We also have been working in our yard. Wow, there is going to be a lot to do this year. We will be making a new flower in the front yard, we will also be doing a lot in the back yard. I am not to excited for all this work. That is about all we have been up too. Pics are from our flower gardens.

Wow! I have been busy lately and not able to blog. My brother came down from Washington. We went to Willow park with my neice and Nephew, they were so cute. My Nephew kept saying Duck, Quack Quack. He got to feed the ducks and then he wanted to go in the pen with them. My Neice was so funny with him she was just like a little Mother.

This is them at the playground at Willow Park.

We also took them skating at the fun park for my Nephews birthday. It was his first time skating he had so much fun when you went to take off his skates he would scream. Kaeden and Haylie had to hold on to someone so they wouldn't fall. So my parents were out there with them both, I think Grandma and Grandpa had more fun than they let on. ;)

I had a really good time hanging out with my family. They don't know how much I miss them When they live so far away.

READING LIKE CRAZY!

I just got asked the other day why I wasn't blogging from my blog stalking friend. You know who you are.;) Well it is because I have been bitten by the Twilight books. Thanks to my Neices they are the reason I can't get my head out of them. I have read the last 3 books in about a week. I am over halfway finished with the last one. That is why I haven't been blogging. So if anyone wanted to know that is were I have been my head stuck in 4 books. Well I better get back to reding so I can finsh it this weekend.

Our Basement

I have been teaching a lot lately so I haven't had to much time to blog but the only thing new is our Basement.
We have been working no stop on our basement. Finally the family room is done. We got carpet and our furniture will be here soon. I hope it will be this week that we get furniture. We are kind of rednecking it in the basement. We are sitting on our patio chairs. We have a nice tv. and pool table down there and then we have those chairs. They look so out of place. I am just glad to have it done. We still have to put the trim up but that is it so YAY!
FYI My camera hs been having issues that is why it looks like it is snowing in my house. These are pics of just before we got carpet.

Our Christmas!
This year for Christmas we did not do a lot like in the past years. We did however get a Wii and that has been Roy's favorite toy from Christmas. We kept it small and fun. We got to stay home and then went to my parents house in the afternoon and then when we came home this is what we came home to.

Look at all that snow!!!

Turbo loved the snow of course. Other than the snow we had a great holiday and New years was fun. We had some family over and played games and sang Karraokee. My brother in law was hilarious to watch. he really got into it. We had a good time ringing in the new year.
That is about it for the holidays.
